About the role
THG are hiring a Snr SEO Manager to help drive growth for several THG brands. Working with the SEO Director as well as several key stakeholders to improve performance across several THG owned brands, that will lead to increased growth for the channel. The Snr SEO Manager will be a key owner in developing and implementing a scalable strategy to significantly improve business KPIs by coordinating SEO efforts, content production, technical audits, and overseeing product optimizations for SEO.
The ideal candidate is an action and results-driven marketer who looks for constant improvement. You enjoy working across multiple teams (SEM, Product, CRO), building effective relationships, and are comfortable managing multiple stakeholders.
What will I be doing?
- Assist the development and implementation of the SEO strategy for THG sites.
- Ownership of the organic performance targets for several of our beauty websites and the delivery against them.
- Work with the SEO Director to develop SEO best practices for the beauty sites, lead discussions with internal stakeholders, ensure progress and performance is reported regularly.
- Setting in place best SEO working practices that other members of the team can use and learn from to develop in their own roles.
- Work with the other SEO teams in THG to identify and contribute to areas of best practice and innovation.
- Support the Head of SEO with the training and development of colleagues in other countries and other markets.
- Stay up to date with the latest SEO industry news, share knowledge with the SEO team, and be a leader within the team.
- Using your experience, utilize all available data to seek out gaps and new opportunities and formulate this into an executable strategy.
What skills do I need?
- An SEO professional with at least 5 years’ experience (agency or in-house).
- Analytically minded, experience using Google Analytics and Google Search Console.
- Strong analytical skills for robust data-driven decision making. Natural affinity for numbers and analytics.
- Experience auditing on-site and off-site SEO factors to create effective SEO strategies.
- Experience using SEO tools including or equivalent to Ahrefs, Deepcrawl, SEMRush, Screaming Frog.
- Experience managing a team, their workflow, and assisting in their own professional development.
- Experience integrating SEO with other digital channels i.e. Social and PR (bonus).
- Ability to define structured plans, clear communication, and foster collaboration to ensure timely delivery of work within an ambiguous, fast-paced environment.
